I confess - when looking at the thumbnails tonight I first noticed the huge thunderstorm. Only after looking at it first after I enlarged the photo did I realize I was looking at a DDA40X with a Rock Island heritage unit behind it. This is really an excellent photo. In addition to the two unique locomotives and the passenger cars the powerful supercell behind it adds additional interest. Indeed, one could make an inference to the powerful storm and relate it to the powerful 6936. A truly excellent railroad photo with powerful clouds makes for a truly excellent photo. Thanks very much for posting.
