Near M/p 1836.1 on a certain former RR’s S or freight main that once went through Malden, WA – train-order office (concrete block type const.Apr., 1976 – last-such blt. by RR, demolished-by STMA c.2005) stood to Rt. of grade-crossing behind trailing unit. Second depot (const.1912) was where Ponderosa pine is to Rt. of parked vehicle, faced N or passenger main conveyed-to UP in June, 1980. Switch ties to Rt.-of lead GP-9M #103 was for latter’s Wallace branch connection (const.1955) abandoned in mid-1993. Prior-to 1961, there were a pair of train-order stands between the tracks seen for governing movements over either main.
