Are you sure it is an SD40? Western Maryland Historical Society's all time roster on their website gives road numbers 7433 to 7436 as SD35 built in December 1964. Page 51 in book Western Maryland Diesel Locomotives, by Stakem and Stakem, TLC Publishing, 1997, gives 7436 as an SD35 with builder number 29894 which eventually went to Chessie and CSX.
