What an eclectic lash up of power and rolling stock. An FP45 war bonnet, FP45 in freight blue and yellow, a F7B war bonnet. This is all followed by 2 very old baggage cars, one decked out in bicentennial scheme, another mate in indistinctive scheme followed by what I can only assume to be a crew coach car. Got to love the early years of Amtrak. I am old enough to remember but the only 1 I got to see was a train running parallel to Annie Glidden Rd just north of the CGW diamond north of DeKalb Illinois in October of 1978. I believe it was the Milwaukee road sub there. By 1982 both the CMStp&P, and CGW lines were gone, and only a keen eye can find the few remain of ROW still paralleling Annie Glidden, and Illinois 64.
