That's one nice piece of locomotive history! Just looking at her, you can see the beginnings of steam locomotive hardware that would be used in steam locomotive construction for the next century and a half. Thanks for sharing this neat photo!

Thanks for a clear photo of a very important historic locomotive. But hmm: "Where it all started"? Puffing Billy (1813) still exists, and the first successful steam railway locomotive is usually credited to Richard Trevithick (1804).
