"You're not Susquehanna No. 142" - Nice catch, Bob. The last time I saw a scene like this, Susquehanna No. 142, a 2-8-2 which previously ran on the Essex Steam Train was leading 614 (for some reason, lol) on a double headed runby at Port Jervis in 1997 (ran to Campbell Hall and back). No. 142 is now operating on the Bel-Del. Thanks for sharing - even if it was an overcast day!

Dumb question, but I haven't been to Strasburg in a handful of years. Is the Capitol Forest Products in the background an SRC customer or NS? I don't think that it was there last I was, at least as a rail service.

Thanks Mitch; we were aboard that 614 trip with the doubleheaded 142 runbys and a doubleheaded run up the grade east out of Port Jervis. It was so long ago that I recorded it with a full-size VHS camcorder. I'll have to dig that tape out! Kevin- per a February 13, 2023 article in "Trains", it's the Strasburg Rail Road that serves the forest products company on a dedicated siding. NS brings the cars to the new SRC Leaman Place yard from its Dillerville Yard, 11 miles west.

Suddenly the 'big' engine for Strasburg doesn't look so big. Nice capture.
