Just an E-8A/B set, no “train” – sitting-on No.2 track @ Portland Union Station facing E/b. Likely displayed for US’ 90th birthday, UP’s next E’ward movement out then was No.106, “City of Portland” @ 12:30P-PT (after W/b version No.105 scheduled arr.3½ hr.s earlier). Cab unit blt. Mar, 1953 (EMD #17783) leased-to ATK as #1327 in May, 1972 to ATK #327 Nov., 1973 ret.26-Jun-1974, and sold-to Naporno Iron & Metals for scrap in July, 1975. The #939B also blt.
