Well, the only things “still the same” from that 33 year-old image are the pair of reblt. (ex-MILW) GP-9M’s, the track they were on, and the background. Log hauling ended on the STMA some two decades ago and those ex-MILW bulkhead-bunker flats have all been scrapped. Also, the track it was on – the former Elk R.-Bovill-Clarkia branch running S from the E side of St. Maries – has also been out-of-service and “embargoed” since 2005.
