I used to see them passing behind my house north of LaFollette, TN every now and again back in the 1980's. It was nice to see something different plying the rails other than the usual. Yes, you are right. They did not last long.

The "Green Train" was a regular visitor to the power plants in and around Columbia, SC back in the eighties. It's great to see them again here on RailPictures.net
