A fascinating aspect of this photo is the area on the right. It appears to be an area of very small houses and looks to be as neat as a pin. It's an area about 1 km long beside the Töss river. This is a garden area, called “Schrebergarten” in Switzerland, where nobody lives (or is allowed to live). The small houses are actually tool sheds for the garden tools, but there are often barbecue areas too.
