Nice photo. This was a popular class of power on the PRR. The Pennsy had over 3,300 class 2-8-0 locomotives over the life of the railroad (not all were H10 class). Reference: Pennsy Power by A. Staufer.

Thanks Jeff. The two PRR 2-8-0s inside the building (Classes H3 & H6sb) are in great condition compared to this one. During WWII, No. 7688 was upgraded for troop train service by adding steam heat lines, train-line signal connections, and a Standard coal stoker- according to the museum's roster page.
