That train sure looks like she's ready to get to the mainline and kick up some rail dust. Looks pretty trim. Thanks George for posting and we like your cool pictures. That engineer probably loves the Columbia River Gorge route and is happy to have a job in the Depression that started October 29, 1929 with the Wall Street crash that went worldwide. Folks had to watch their pennies and as Dad used to say 'tighten yer belt son and hang on'. 1=5=0 and lets go.
