Not sure quality is the word quantity and ease of repair yes. Kind of like a small block Chevy. They were cheap and easy to repair, but not known for longevity. People also need to remember this was their 2nd gen prime mover the 1st the Winton 201 was a dog. As mentioned IC Paducah rebuilt them, maybe that is where the quality stamp belongs. 25 years till rebuild, 40+ after rebuild.

All SW14 donor units (NW2, SW7, and SW9) had V-12 567 engines.
