You might not notice it at first glance, but the line branching away to the left is the former NP Park Branch that once ran down to Gardiner Montana. Shame BN ripped that line up a few years after this was taken.

It's always great to see what 'life was like' on the old NP Homestake Pass line through Butte--keep them coming and many thanks for sharing!
