According to thedieselshop, its heritage is: WAMX 4214 < NREX/UP 2769 < SP 8603 < C&NW 6586 < BN 6467 < CB&Q SD45 526. What a long & winding road that loco has traveled!

Looks like Pete is right…I was picking up an earlier unit by the same number.
