For those that do not live in New York, was this a former New York Knicks basketball arena? Or perhaps the New York Rangers hockey stadium? That would be my guess. If so, they should've left the seats. Either way, nice shot, and unique view of the "Train Hall".

I thought this was the former Penn Station, which had been rebuilt or upgraded. Perhaps even Grand Central station ?

Don - Moynihan Train Hall occupies part of the James A. Farley Building, which was formerly a post office. Specifically, the train hall occupies a portion of the former post office's mail sorting hall, while most of the rest of the building is leased by Facebook as office space. Unlike railroads of the past, the station is named after yet another politician. It just looks like a basketball court. There are no seating areas nor benches in a covert effort by the city to keep the homeless out. Regardless, Marc did a great job capturing the "new" addition.

It is the expansion of Penn Station NY into the old US Post Office. I wonderful use of another historic building.

Thank you all for the great comments. I do remember the post office being there when I was young.
