Though it did a lot (maybe a bit too much "consolidation," the name was the Consolidated Rail Corp. Initially "ConRail," later the capital "R" was dropped and it became simply "Conrail."

How many fallen flags have two heritage units with two different railroads? Well, I guess technically, Conrail isn't a fallen flag.

I consider it a fallen flag. The "Conrail Shared Assets" entity is a railroad more or less on paper only; its CSX and NS owners provide the power and crews for their respective trains, with maybe an exception for switching crews which is just a "service" for the owners.
