Posted by Carl Massart on September 3, 2023  Did the Fireman typically ride on the rear of the tender of the cab forward engines? I figured he'd be between the engine and the tender. Posted by Steve Black on September 4, 2023  I think that is the head brakeman and the fireman (as far as I know) rode in the cab.
