Your photo is timely - July 4 days are the biggest of ice cream consumption and stand/restaurant sales in the US. I learned that working in a dairy located right next to the N&W mainline (former Wabash) in Decatur, Illinois. I loved watching the intense, frequent action on that double-track line on the west side of Decatur in the 1970s - early 80s. How I miss it now.
