What an interesting "blob" of a bulky "kit-bashed" locomotive. I looked this locomotive up online, and found the name of the "...about 90 similar examples built by..." company and it was: ?uro ?akovi?
?uro ?akovi? Grupa d.d. is a Croatian metal mechanical engineering group based in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. The company is named after ?uro ?akovi?, a prominent Yugoslav communist of the Interwar period.
I guess you could say that I was curious to know what "?"uro "?"akovic meant... it was just a letter "D" with a hash through it for "Duro Dakovic".
