Interesting consist, that appears to be an EMD behind the Big Boy, and not sure what is directly behind the diesel. Almost looks a tender.

The car behind the diesel looks to be a repurposed vanderbilt tender. Perhaps to carry diesel fuel or water?

Thanks for posting this Mr. Stupar. At the same time I had to laugh, and yet acknowledge the importance of this photo. Look at any of the pics of 4014 in it's new found life, and the comments will always include "Why is there a diesel in the consist?". Turns out they've always done that! Thanks again.
