I stood in approximately the same spot for several hours in 90 degree plus heat with more sunshine than we wanted. It was hot and then some and we kept being told that a train would be on the trestle "shortly". We got covered with ticks and had nowhere to sit, not wanting to sit on the ground for even more ticks to jump on us. We finally got the photo but were too tired to really work at getting a good one. This was back in BN days so I have to be satisfied with what I came home with. That was my last trip there as I am not much of a BNSF fan. The BN was good and the Great Northern was GREAT.

Thanks for the comment, David. I've had a similar experience at this location a time or two as well. It's definitely a place that takes some work to get to in the first place, and then it can certainly try your patience. Even with the ticks and tired feet, I'm still jealous you got to see the BN here!
