To the left of the photo is the I-40 bridge east and west bound. The Santa Fe logos are on both ends of the bridge and has been for decades. There is another smaller short bridge to the west of this big bridge where the dirt road goes under it in the photo. During my truck driving career, I drove by this bridge several hundred times. The same Santa Fe emblem is found on a number of railroad bridges in the middle of the Mojave National Preserve desert near the abandoned community of Kelso not too far from this location.
