While not as famous as her excursion star sister, 3759 would later have her own claim to Santa Fe fame by pulling the railroads last steam powered train over Cajon Pass on February 6, 1955. She currently sits on display in Kingman, AZ.

This locomotive sits in a park in Kingman, Arizona now. This is also what the 3751 looked like in her original as-built configuration, before the Santa Fe extensively rebuild her and the remainder of her 3751-class 4-8-4 sisters. Quite different locomotives than what they are now.

Kind of looks like the front of the smoke box got heated or had some black smoke run up the outside face of the smoke box. Thanks for sharing this gem.
