I sincerely thank you for this and all your other photos of Mississippi railroading. I grew up in Quitman MS many years ago. My father worked MOW for Southern Railway for over fifty years. I can recall us taking him to Meridian to catch a ride on the Crescent to some job assignment away from home. To see your photos brings back so many memories to me. Where is the locomotive? At the front, it looks like a steam engine boiler and cab on a flatcar.
