It is still a mystery to me how this group of locomotives, and their corresponding paint jobs, fail to fade?! Awesome photo in a so many ways!!

What I don't understand is why you would not keep the war bonnet paint scheme. Its so iconic. Ever kid had one under the tree growing up. Its probably one of the most recognizable trademarks in the world. Just my opinion.
