Spectacular & beautiful photo which brings back great memories. In 1969 I was in the U.S. Army stationed in the Stuttgart, Germany area. My parents came to visit me from the U.S. and said they wanted to see the Alps. So they spent two weeks in Switzerland - We took the train to Gornergrat and saw one of the most spectacular views I have witnessed in my 76 years. The slides I took at Gornergrat I used in my Physical Geography class several times a year beginning in 1978 when I became a college professor. Thank you very much Herr Trub for posting this excellent and memorable photo.
