That's strange. I thought that they were going to eliminate that bottleneck with the work at Grand Crossing where the Amtrak Trains that have used the St. Charles Airline would use an old bridge that goes over the old IC line and Metra and then duck under the main Amtrak line heading to Union Station.
Strange that they're working on it.
