At least one of the former BN units made its way to Huntington, WV working for the Ohio River Company. During the 80's and up-to-mid 90's, 4010 shuffled hoppers to a rail-to-barge transfer (IINM). The only time I saw that one in action was 1996 but that whole operation in Huntington is gone, with the tracks removed and no sign of rail traffic anywhere. I'm just glad this unit has been saved and let's hope it's preserved even better for the future.

Everything I've heard about these is that the companies that purchased them were very pleased with these units, but sadly ALCO didn't sell enough of them to save the company.
