Anyone know why the wings were put on this unit? I know that NONE of the SD90s had the wings put on when they were built. Was it a wreck repair, or a repaint maybe? (Although the rest of the unit doesn't look like it's been painted). UP has also put the "Wings" on SD90/43 #8242, but that was done after the unit was repaired and repainted following an accident.
