Used to spend time at the dispatching office in Clovis back in the seventies; kind of a beehive of activity with the busy, mostly single track railroad, nearly constant arrival and departure of trains and several large US&S CTC machines with dispatchers overseeing the activity. At least the RR is still busy, but the local flavor of division offices has long been gone.
