Back in 1977 and on the other end of this tunnel a friend and I sat on the ledge with our legs hanging down as a 4 SP tunnel motors passed under us. We were excited by all that power passing beneath but somewhat in denial it could have been disastrous had we slipped. The thundering smoke belched skyward as we closed our eyes.
