An original station was built here by the Charleston and Western Carolina Railway. The current station house was built around 1955 and is a replacement for several other stations in the past. The station was later run by the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. Thanks for sharing, Matt. I'm glad there are people that still care to preserve the character, and history of the town they live in - and, by virtue, the country we live in.
