One of the most spectacular scenic lines in America and one least well known. Every bit as good as the narrow gauge. IMHO. A pity there is no good operator for this now. I got to ride what I believe was the last steam excursion across the pass. At last, one that didn’t get away.

All three of the passenger cars in the train are now on the Reading and Northern in Pennsylvania.
