That would be an interesting scene to model. If modeled in a computer simulator such as Trainz you could have staging yards, or a continuous loop, on each route, program the trains to run on the simulator AI, and sit back and watch the train parade. Might even be able to place a viewpoint on the porch of that house on corner!

An all familiar image, although some of it cropped off the right side, that I have in Fred Hyde's Milwaukee Road in Color. Nice to see the whole picture. One truly good shot.

Judging by the way that that street heading towards the bridge the rail bridge must have served double duty. I looks like there are wide parts on either side of the tracks. Probably for cars to cross the Ohio.
