When I drove a truck before retiring, I hauled a lot of steel beams and other pieces from this place in the late 70's to the late 80's. I only caught a glimpse of the their little locomotive just a few times. If I remember right, the steel company was alongside the Lehigh River and it went out of business in the early 90's. The crew that usually loaded my trailer always got a few laughs listening to my Tennessee accent. Sometimes, I would give the "Snuffy Smith" touch and watch them really laugh.
