Excellent photo. I rode the southbound counterpart from Denver to Dallas in 1967, the same year this photo was taken and it was quite an adventure. We stopped at least once in a town and walked across the street to a restaurant, crew and all, to eat. It was a slow train to nowhere - we arrived in Dallas about 7 hours late. Coach only. What a ride!
