This is now at Fort Lee near Petersburg, VA... it's visible from the road that goes through there.

I believe they have actually moved it indoors.

I drove by it the last time on July 8 of this year... it was sitting in the same spot it has been since they moved it there. Right off HWY 36 or whatever road that is that cuts right down the middle of Fort Lee. I get up that way a couple times a year.

So that is actually a US ARMY model 1895 inch railgun. Saw it yesterday while I was down at Fort Lee. It's a 12 incher, and while big, not nearly as big as this one which is housed on Fort Lee but unavailable to the public.
