I'd say this paint scheme is more deserving for a locomotive on the Hiawatha than copying UP's armor-yellow! The Friends of the 261 did one heck of a job! I assume the 32A will be accompanying 261 on future excursions?

I love your photo. Beautiful E9 paint job job, and perfect lighting. Milwaukee Road did have a great paint scheme before they adopted the UP yellow.

Not sure if previous commenters will see this, but to answer a couple questions:
Yes, the locomotive is operational and does tag along with steamer 261 when it runs.
