Nice photo, but NS4135 is no longer a GE C40-9 it is now a AC44C6M.

The stone pillars are the remnants of the old bridge which led uphill to the old Coaldale tunnel. On the other side of the road bridge are pillars from the old bridge from the Mill Creek coal mine.
