OOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEE . 1959, and moving down the line. Some of the pictures are unbelievable an I wished I lived across the street. Let me see. Hmmm, i would be 3 yrs younger and a little leaner and have 11 more hairs on mi head,but wait here comes this freight and I musn't wait neither hesitate. I gotta get to Alabama before its to late. Beautiful shot, don't see many photos of the NC&ST.L F units or any of their motive power. Nice scheme, fits the F's, very well

If you'r referring to the cars back at the siding switch, it looks like this train is making a setout or a pickup, and is not derailed. The Engineer appears to be looking into the side mirror, and not ahead. He is probably watching the Brakeman hanging onto the ladder on the rear car in the siding. If they had derailed, there should be at least one or two trainmen at the site, and soon thereafter would come a number of people.
