The ACE-3000 was an interesting idea. Being a steam fan, I wanted to see that project become reality...and yes I made a small financial contribution to that project (I still have the complimentary poster of the proposed ACE-3000 that I received for my 'donation'). You are certainly correct...at least the 614 got to roam the rails again as a result of the ACE-3000 project.
