Don't see any leaves on the bridge, they should be able to turn of the water and the glue over a bridge, especially spraying glue into a river, the regs must be as old as the loco's.

Great shot of the Althorpe bridge, and I too love the 37s on these. The reason for spraying, is that it is approaching Althorpe station, and clearing the rails for adhesion for safe braking.

I thought the same, but I do know its all ecologically assesed and environmentally friendly etc etc.
