Nice photo Steve. I just went to this location on Google Maps and I see how much has changed since then. This is now a double track line, used by light rail and there is a light rail passenger station located just off the crossing behind the camera view to the left in the direction the train is heading, in fact it would be just about to pull into the station if this were a passenger train. I also found a North American Car Company built Ice Refrigeration Box Car lettered North American Despatch No. NADX 6199 for the Utah Poultry Producers Cooperative Association packers and distributors of Milk White Eggs on display at the light rail passenger station along Pioneer Rd. Interesting photo from your father, and it's nice to see you picked up his hobby early - even though you were using a toy camera at the time.
