Being delivered in 1969, these were not quite the last for GM&O. That honor went to GP38-2s 740 - 754, delivered in 1972, but wearing an almost identical scheme. The last five units were delivered AFTER the August merger, so during the first months of existence, ICG's newest, shiniest locomotives trotted the system wearing this beautiful scheme.
