So it's closing down huh? I'm really glad I stumbled across this place by accident back in 2012! So what are the plans for the property once it shuts down?

Not sure on the property plans, but hopefully something will take over in the future. I live closer to the facility in Dixmoor, but Silvis definitely has more power sitting around. It'll be interesting to see if they transfer a lot of this power to other facilities. If they don't, it looks like the scrapper will have a busy job.
