This photo has me wondering if this special train was advertised. There's hardly anyone there to see it. One would think there would be a bigger gathering. Maybe it was because it was July 4. Maybe it's because there was no Internet back then. I grew up south of here and don't recall my father saying a word about it. If he had known, we would have gone.
