Great to see these! But according to the USGS maps, the railroad crosses at Veta Pass. La Veta Pass is a road crossing somewhat north of here.

While technically it is Veta Pass, the railroaders still referred to it as La Veta Pass, even after the line change. Likely because the of the one time crew change and helper operations based at the town of La Veta which was the base of the 3% westbound grade.
