I think the normal Re 421, that would pull this train, was on the IC3 line, becauseI saw it on that line

There's hardly any connection. Between Zurich and Singen any Re 4/4 II can be used, no Re 421 is needed, although this is often the case. The Swiss-Express locomotives are used whenever possible in services with rather low mileage.
