If it wasn't for the purple & silver F40PH in the picture, this could easily pass for classic picturesque New England in the 40's with the grass growing in the ballast, ship-lap siding on the buildings, and jointed rail. This is an amazing shot John!

I remember standing at this crossing in November 1996 photographing a Bay Colony Geep on a trash train whilst on holiday from the UK. It hasn't change much apart from tree growth.
